Where are you from?

Alex / Guitar, Daw Synths
What does your band name mean?
Well, it just started to be exactly the opposite of what it tells you about because at the time it was really a side project, but for now it just means exactly what it means. Not a side project.
What genre do you consider yourself? Why?
I think you can call it metal because heavy guitar riffs and strong drum rythms always comes up in my tracks, but, with all the electronic stuff that i mix in I think I’ll just leave the “labeling” to the ones who listen.
What drew you to music?
I don´t know. Guess it came with the package by the time i was born. Since i was a kid music had “that” effect on me… Can´t really explain.
What are some of your most influential bands? Why?
I could name some bands that I like most but I guess they all influenced me one way or another. It’s all about the the music you know. You can have bands that you love that make shitty tracks, and shitty bands that you don’t like that some way make a great track/s… I guess my influence is good music, or music that I like and someway “touches” me.
What was your first song?
Don’t remember the title I gave to it, but it was ‘something’ I made with loops that I put up together.
What is your song writing process?
I don’t have any. The concept can come from anywhere, anything. Then I start from there!
What songs do you perform the most often?
My own
Do you play any covers?
I could, but for now I´m too busy writing my own material.
Do you have a set play list?
Is there a secret meaning in any of your music?
Sure! There´s a secret meaning in all of my tracks, and it´s inside your heads.
What is your favorite part of working in music?
To create music
What is your least favorite part of working in music?
Mixing, Promoting…
Have you ever dealt with performance anxiety? If so how?
You always get little “anxiety” before a show, don´t you? and It goes right away once you get into the thing!
How old were you when you started playing your instrument?
Somewhere between 12/15
How do you describe your music to people?
A “friend” just left a comment on my Facebook page that, i think, describes my music the best way. It goes like this:
The world created by N.A.S.P. is a mix of dark and light, war and peace, high peaks and fluid valleys, where silences become loud and the blend of guitar and drums carries the listener in a sublime trip through this ominous atmospheres.
What image do you hope your music conveys?
Any image created in your heads. It means that somehow it touched you!

Nowhere. For now …
Do you have any up coming shows?
What is your greatest achievement to date?
Being a good human Being 😀 😀
Are you happy with the current success of your music?
Sure! I´m receiving lots of positive feedback from people all around the world and it feels really good!
What is the ultimate direction for your music?
For now I´ll just focus on doing music that i like.
Maybe in a near future i´ll start to think on build up a band and take the project to another level.

How do you feel about the internet and the music business?
I could make a huuuge statement for this question… But no.
Think its good for indie artists so they can show their work more easily.
